Our 2 Year Old's Birthday Party
Chocolate Fudge Cake with Chocolate Derby Filling Last weekend was busy organising our little toddler's birthday bash. Not many guests, though for us every party is special (not to mention a couple of families cancelled at the last minute). Anyways, it was a lot of fun. We believe for toddlers, the best time to cut the cake should be when they are at their easiest. For our champ, morning or afternoon is the best. So some brunch idea were in place. The cake was ordered from La Bonbonniere ( http://www.labon.com/ ) in Edison. So far they are the best bakery we have found in NJ. While visiting Labon for the cake order, we discovered their excellent red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. My husband could not resist without ordering them for the party (another reason being the cupcake stand we had brought from MICHAELS). Desserts done, appetizers and main course was a jiffy.
